New Work
"My work is divided into two parts: the sculpture and the performance. The whole work is completed when I cover the sculpture made of wool with syrup in a 50 minutes performance. "I want my work to be messy, uncontrollable, chaotic, sticky but alive. The work is currently created from an 'unconscious' position attempting to remove subjective motivations previously applied to the work. This approach is both challenging and rewarding, as it demands that I trust in the process of creation and surrender control. As I progress through this process of "absolute conformity," I gain insight into my own subconscious impulses, preferences, and ego situations. Also, it was a goodbye for me in a thousand words.

In this work, I have developed a deeper relationship an unconscious processes of making. Originally 'meanings' and 'reasons' I have given to my work have caused the work to be understood through a set of understood principles or ideas. This new direction has allowed me to ask deeper questions of the work as a result of working with process led methodologies. These revelations give rise to a red, chaotic, slightly absurd, yet divine being, which embodies the delicate balance of surrounding and being surrounded, saving and being saved. When presenting my work, I intentionally refrain from providing the viewer with an explanation or backstory. Instead, I observe their behavior and response to the work, allowing for a more intuitive and personal interaction, much like a stranger entering another person's dream or an outsider unconsciously entering a religious pilgrimage of a primitive tribe. My performances are a natural extension of this work, as they allow me to further explore the growth of this living being and my relationship with it. This relationship is one of mutual nurturing, suppression, and redemption, reflecting the complexity of the subconscious mind and the interplay between our conscious and unconscious selves.
